A form of alternative medicine & a key component of traditional Chinese medicine.

It is essential to honor the body, mind, spirit & energy systems as a whole collective system. When one part is out of balance, it effects the others creating disharmony. True healing is only possible when your body, mind, spirit & energy systems are in harmony.

Oriental medical theory explains disharmonies as an imbalance of opposing forces called yin and yang. This imbalance disrupts the movement of the body's vital energy (Qi) along the meridian pathways, which are channels through which the body's energy is thought to flow.

Acupuncture restores the smooth flow of Qi. By inserting and manipulating hair-thin needles at specific points, the body can be returned to its natural balance and promotes the body's ability to heal itself.
